Real-world research
August is almost here, and with my September 15th dissertation submission deadline before me, I’m quickening my pace. The thing with conducting research within a short timeline is getting participants to also act with the same sense of urgency - without being too forceful in rushing them. I’ve given an extension until the end of this week, and I’m hoping that the majority of remaining participants will flood my inbox with completed questionnaires. After all, I need time to compile, analyse and report the data and start the findings, discussion and analysis and conclusion of my dissertation.
Sphere: Related ContentI haven’t resorted to biting fingernails just yet. But I’m really hoping those questionnaires come through. Thankfully, I have interviews with some participants next week, so I’ll feel as if I’m getting somewhere and I can add that information to what I’ve already gleaned from the seven questionnaires I’ve already collected.
Guess it’s welcome to the real world of research for me!
