The monkey is off my back. I’ve submitted my dissertation (on public relations and corporate social responsibility in Trinidad and Tobago). Somehow, I had anticipated a stressful experience, completing this dissertation of mine. Books that give advice on how to progress with your dissertation suggest that it can be quite a stressful experience. For me, it was more one of exercising project management skills and working with your data. The most stressful part for me was patiently awaiting word that FedEx had indeed safely delivered my dissertation on time. Now, that the dissertation is in, I can do what I normally do when I’m awaiting results, forget about them until the grade slip is in my hands.
