Tracking my blog

It’s been two months since I started this blog. It’s been two months now that I’ve received over 200 hits to this blog. Sitemeter.com has been quite handy in helping me to follow my blog’s statistics. So, I thought I’d share with you the country characteristics of my readership. Additionally, then you could also see the diverse range of people who read the blog, and your comments.

In July, the majority of my readership was based in the UK, after which Trinidad and Tobago constituted the second majority, and the United States the third majority. Towards the end of August, the majority of my hits started coming from Trinidad and Tobago, with UK readership slipping to second place.

One to two percent of my readership includes countries such as Australia, Canada, Chile, Jamaica, Norway, Romania, and the Philippines. Over the months, my readership has also come to include persons from Argentina, Barbados, Denmark, Dominica, Germany, India, Ireland, Malaysia, Mexico, Portugal, St Lucia, South Africa, Spain, Switzerland, and the Netherlands – with each of these countries alternately representing one to three percent of my readership based on weekly hits. Recently, someone from Macau viewed the blog. Guyana is the most recent addition.
To all of you, thanks for reading the blog. I will continue to try to discover new things about the practice of public relations in the Caribbean (based on factual information, and not just intuition or speculation) to share with you.

Here’s a chart of the most recent readership percentages, dated September 16.
