Corporate governance conference in Barbados
Participants will be presented with practical, cutting-edge knowledge and methodologies that enable the development and execution of sound corporate governance policies and practices. International and regional presenters are slated to present. They include Dr Sanjay Anand, an internationally recognised expert on Corporate Governance and Regulatory Compliance who has worked with many Fortune 100 and Global 2000 companies in different industries throughout the world. He is also an author of several books, including “The Sarbanes-Oxley Guide for Finance and Information Technology Professionals”, which examines the Sarbanes Oxley Act, which was enacted with the aim of improving corporate responsibility, after a number of corporate scandals in the United States, most notably the Enron and WorldCom fiascos.
Dr Madhav Mehra, president of the World Council for Corporate Governance, the World Organisation for Global Governance and the Chairman of the World Quality Council will also address conference attendees.
