Bloggers have feelings too
I stumbled on Site Meter’s blog
, and was relieved to read the answer to my problem. For the past few days, I haven’t been getting any stats for my blog, and I’ll be honest, I was worried. At the risk of sounding all teenagerish, I was like, oh my gosh! You means no-one is reading my blog? Now, that’s something to hurt a blogger.
Back to Sitemeter’s blog. To my relief I realised that I was not the only one experiencing problems. Seems Site Meter’s server has a problem, so that some sites, particularly those in the category my account is in, is lagging behind heavily. But they’re working on it.
Now this really helped to ease my worry. Before, I was starting to think, okay I really have to find a way to drive more readership to my site. I mean, I don’t expect to have tonnes of people reading my site every day, though I’d love that. So, I’m hoping to see my stats jumping up soon, so that I can appease my blogger’s ego, and know that someone thinks my writing is worth something.
