Corporate T&T on blogging bandwagon?
Corporate T&T has officially joined the blogging bandwagon. A new blog, TriniMobile, set up by the bmobile crew has logged on to the blogosphere. How do I know? That’s what the Mobile Crew said in the Back Chat inbox on The Manicou Report.
The Trini Mobile blog does not give much information about itself except for the following:
“Welcome! Out of a population of 1.6 million people Trinidad & Tobago has
1.4 million mobile subscribers. Maybe it’s time for a place to exchange mobile
products, services, promotions and world trends.”
Is bmobile (Caribbean cellular services provider) really trying to engage people online? I’ll keep watching to see how this develops.

Hello this is moderator of the trinimobile blog. I’m not affiliated with bmobile and the information there more focuses world trends in the mobile market and discussions on mobile realted issues.

With a name like TriniMobile one would assume that the blog would center on the current situation within the mobile industry of the country rather than posting news articles with a worldwide view.
I would actually look forward to some critical analysis of the local situation.
But then again thats my assumption, Karel your thoughts?
Dre, I agree. Trinis will be interested in reading about issues that pertain to them. We don’t really care about what is going on in another country’s mobile sector. Thing is, when you’re targeting a particular audience, in this case Trinis, you’ve got to give them information that is relevant to them. Otherwise, you won’t connect with your readers. When you’ve got them hooked, then you can broaden content.
I doubt that its a Bmobile effort, looks more like an employee in the industry has decided to set it up. But as you say we can only wait for confirmation either way.
