Starting the Barbados Public Relations Association

Christal P. Mc Intosh (who I’m not sure is related to me, but we’re working on finding that out) is a Barbadian public relations practitioner who’s very excited about developing the profession in her home country. Christal and I hooked up through my blog when she noticed my post about the Caribbean Communicators group on Facebook, and joined other communicators and I there.

Now on a mission to establish a Barbados Public Relations Association (BPRA), Christal has been championing her cause on her company’s new blog, Lyrical Lava PR. I really look forward to learning more about Bajan PR, and will be checking the Lyrical Lava blog regularly. Welcome to the blogosphere Christal. I hope I am not getting this endorsement on the basis of our possible family ties!

I must express my thanks to you for the idea to start a Bajan PR society really had its genesis with our Facebook discussions.

Trust that I will continue to lean on you for further encouragement, especially during this crucial growth stage.
